Energy Assistance Program

The County Gas staff works closely with the federal government sponsored Low-Income Energy Assistance Programs (LIHEAP) on a State level.  This program can help qualified low-income households meet their Energy needs. Assistance takes the form of subsidies to help in the purchase of Propane for heating, cooking, and other household uses.

The amount of assistance you receive depends on the size of your household, income and heating costs.   We have enclosed a table for your convenience but suggest that you contact your local energy assistance agency for assistance, if you believe you qualify.
